Two Year Festivities and a Little Bit of Illegalness

My first picture next to him... like this. Kelly convinced me it would be okay... and now I love it.

Giving Cleve a shot of Crown. He did love his Crown.

I had to take one too. Though, I'm really not a fan.

My widows moving the headstone that was WRONG to replace it with the right one. Seriously... only a widow would do this for you. I love them. With everything in me.

 Moving the icky one to the car. It will be placed next to a tree that is planted for him. Though it was wrong, it was still made for him and was on his grave for a year. It can't go to waste.

Hahaha. Muddy dress. Illegal activities. I'm sorry... but for such a craptastic day, this made it kind of awesome.

See? It's just so much better now that it's right. Finally. Two years later. The FLIPPIN headstone is right.

Hi there! I just saw your comments on youtube.

We remember you both from the hospital! I remember wondering how you could both be so brave at such a young age. We always admired you and thought fondly of you...I know I couldn't have even come close to being as strong and courageous as you have been when I was your age. I think you were only 20 when we met you in the hospital?? Amazing!

When I heard the news a few months ago, my heart ached for both of you and it still does. I'm so sorry...

You continue to be an inspiration and a role model to the wives and widows of wounded warriors. You are so honest and open and say the things that so many of us think about but don't have the guts to say.

Thank you for showing us what real love is about...and how we can continue to get stronger and stronger each day, even when we still have our pain!

I hope to see you soon!

@Sue

I am, too! At some point you just have to do things yourself to get them done right.

Thank you so much, Dahlia. That means so much. I can't believe ya'll remember us. You guys are one of the only couples I remember that vividly from that time. It was such a blur back then. And yes, I was 20 at that time. It's crazy to think about. I'm so happy you guys are doing so well. I hope to see you as well. <3
